This month we will feature wines from one of the most underrated Wine Regions, the Pacific Northwest. Often thought of as a one dimensional region, it’s geographical location and climate provide a unique growing area. Come explore with our Host Rick Annis the complexity and versatility of this gem of a region in the Great Northwest. You may be surprised to learn that a good portion of Washington vineyards are in a dessert, while the lush fertile Willamette Valley is much larger than the Napa/Sonoma growing areas. We will feature the uniqueness of these wines that have familiar varietals, but not necessarily the flavor profile that those varietals are known for.
